Total Drama World Tour: Cartoon Edition is the forthcoming third season of the Total Drama Cartoon series. In this series, 16 cast-mates are taken on challenges spanning the globe, and required to break spontaneously into song. Sandy, Phineas, Ash, Bloo, Cosmo, Timmy, May, Squidward, Trixie, Spongebob, Carl, Stacy, Candace, Jimmy, Blossom and last season winner Bubbles have been confirmed to return, along with six new characters, Cindy, Mac, Numbuh 3, Numbuh 4, Sheen and Vanessa. As of now, Misty, first season winner Ferb, Wanda, Jeremy, Pearl, Buttercup, James, Isabella, Max, Patrick, Brock, Dawn, Jessie, Frankie and Poof will not be returning to compete.

As with the previous seasons, 16 past contestants (Ash, Bloo, Blossom, Bubbles, Candace, Carl, Cosmo, Jimmy, May, Phineas, Sandy, SpongeBob, Squidward, Stacy, Timmy, and Trixie) and 6 new characters (Cindy, Mac, Numbuh 3, Numbuh 4, Sheen and Vanessa) partake in an elimination-based competition for C$1,000,000, led by series host Chris McLean. In this season, contestants are required to break into song whenever Chris rings a special chime. As contestants are eliminated, they are to take the "Drop of Shame" to the "Helipad of Losers" and jump off the plane in which the elimination ceremonies take place.
